Indoor Power Supply - 12 VDC Output
The Indoor Power Supply is used in conjunction with LED modules, LED strip and tape lighting, and other DIY installations. It is the perfect power supply for indoor projects as it has a heat venting design that allows it to never overheat. Obviously, don't install it right behind the washing machine where it gets humid and hot. But with most indoor applications it should be able to take you multiple years before you even need to think about a replacement. Wattages over 250 watt come with their own smart fan. The fan automatically turns on when it senses the power supply going through heavy load or when it is going above the optimal temperature. The indoor power supply can convert 110 VAC or 220 VAC to 12 VDC. UL Certified models have a wider input range of 100~280 VAC with the same output range of 12 VDC. Always remember to purchase at least 15% more wattage than what you intend to use so you do not overload your power supply with a constant full load.
Switching from 110 VAC to 220 VAC input range. Non-UL models will allow you to switch between input voltages. There is a switch on the side of the power supply which allows you alternate between 110 VAC and 220 VAC. When you receive the power supply, please check to see which input you are running at. The default input range is 110 VAC (+ or - 15%). You can run the power supply within a range near 110. Your input voltage does not have to be exactly 110 or 220.
